Congratulations to the newly elected State Officers for the Michigan State Circle Columbian Squires! We’re especially proud that Circle 801′s own Sebastian Cooper has been elected to a state position (positions begin July 1st):

Congratulations also goes to Circle #801′s own Dylan Cooper, who will be finishing his term as State Chief Squire on June 30th. Dylan and Past State Chief Squire Sean Roland (another member of Circle 801) have just become 1st Degree members of Holy Cross Council! We hope to have them on board as counselors effective immediately.

Due to building problems, the Squires Car Wash Fundraiser scheduled for today (Sunday, June 6th) has been CANCELLED!

There is a 1st Degree scheduled for Tuesday evening, June 2nd. If you have a candidate (or you yourself are interested in joining), please contact DD/GK Mike Kozakiewicz at the council ASAP (313.843.5233).

If you are driving around the council this weekend between 2PM and 6PM (yes, we mean YOU, 4th Degree members!), stop over and get a car wash! No donation refused!!!

The elections for 4th Degree Officers are THIS SUNDAY. Meeting will open at 6PM. Get more information by checking out the council newsletter.

NOTE: They are still looking for a Faithful Scribe and 2 Faithful Trustees. If you can, please consider running for a position.

It is with great sadness that we report that SK Joe Murawski has passed away today. He’s been a officer, honor guardsman and bingo chairman for many years.

The Rosary will be held Thursday, May 13th at 5PM with chalice ceremony immediately following at Martenson Funeral Home-Allen Park Chapel, 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI. On Friday, May 14th, he will then lie instate starting at 10AM with Funeral Mass starting at 10:30AM at St Cyprian Church, 13249 Pennsylvania Rd, Riverview, MI.

May his soul through the mercy of God rest in peace… Amen!

It is with great sadness that we report that SK Ray Robak has passed away today. He was our Worthy Financial Secretary for many years, and is survived by his wife, Lady Martha (Marty).

The Rosary will be held Wednesday, May 12th at 7PM with chalice ceremony immediately following at Risko Ferguson Family Funeral Home, 7100 Michigan Ave, Detroit, MI 48210. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, May 13th at Our Lady Queen of Angels Church.
