Back from Convention. Feels really good to be back in on the action. To all Squires and Circles, current State Board, as well as the new State Board: Thank you for giving me this opportunity to be your new State Deputy Chief Squire this year. I promise to honor my position faithfully. The new board and I are without a doubt extremely motivated for the upcoming term. I myself, have huge plans for the program, so I can only imagine what those ideas combined with others are going to bring. This year is going to be an historic one. We are going to forever change this program and the way it is looked upon. Let's get to work!

Circle 801 came close to claiming this title in 1987, but the counsellor/squire duo of Jamie Kuhlman and Mark Krawczyk was denied the crown even though they had the best time in the race.
