This Sunday, September 11, 2011, Holy Cross Council will hold a Blue Mass at St Francis d’Assisi Catholic Church (corner of Wesson and Buchanan) in Detroit. Mass will begin at 10AM.
We are not only remembering the men and women who lost their lives in New York, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania on that day 10 years ago, but also praying for the men and women who lost their lives in the line of duty in our city of Detroit, and for those who are still active who we depend on each and every day.
Refreshments will be served following the Mass at Holy Cross Council 2739, 4381 Larkins (at Michigan Ave).
